new / old logo

we have changed our logo!

actually we started off with this one, so we are going back to it - feeling a bit sentimental in our old age!! work has begun on our website / shop (even though we are on etsy too) it's time to take that leap. so we had a long hard look at ourselves and what we wanted - one of the things was the 'old' logo. hope you like it . . . x

summer?

today really felt like summer had well and truly gone. sun turned to grey and the drizzle followed.

i was looking through the summer photo's and remembered a day on the beach with some gorgeous friends. this made me smile!

now in the etsy shop

just added our flower brooches to the shop . . . so wander across and have a look.

happiness is . . .

watching my daughter draw on the window. simple pleasures, being lost in a little world, no worries just happy. . . made me smile.

another crazy creature is born

eri, aged 24 (mental age of 9!) designed this creature which we bought to life - quite a challenge, but we enjoyed it!

summer is over!

the kids are now back at school, so hopefully we will get back to full speed blogging again! we have had a super busy summer, doing lots of craft fairs. so now it is time to replenish stock and get ready for (dare I say it) christmas!!!

felt corsages

we were commissioned to make 6 felt corsages for six little flower girls. here they are . . .

new bunny

we have been doing some 'freestyle' sewing!! what does that mean, you ask? well it's just creating a creature with scraps of fabric and seeing what happens . . . it's been fun! here's the first bunny we made, he's called oscar. he used to be part of a pair of tweed trousers!

had a fun few days at duck pond market this weekend. they had a medieval festival there, as well as the normal craft fair. apart from the rain on saturday, it was a good weekend!!

this week . . .

we have mostly been making creatures . . . in preparation for a craft fair on 24th and 25th july at Harrow Arts Centre. so if you are around the area pop in. there will be loads of art activities for kids too. should be a fun filled day.

july has been a busy month so far, lots of school fairs and craft fairs. we have met some lovely people along the way. i do love my 'job'

we are taking a week off. been working hard, now it is time to enjoy the sun and recharge. : )

we have just spent a wonderful day attending a course for crafters at ferrers gallery with the wonderful Rachael Chambers. we learnt alot about being more 'business' minded. as we all know us crafters are hopeless at selling ourselves, so it was a real insight! it was also great to meet some really lovely fellow crafts people.
