MAKE A BOOK half term workshop

we had a wonderful morning of creativity during our MAKE A BOOK workshop this morning! the children made an A4 book, sewing the spine together. we then read a wonderful book called 'First Flight' by Sara Fanelli as our inspiration. the children then made up their own versions of a first flight or their favourite book using collage! we are soooo very pleased with the results . . . the pictures speak for themselves . . .

this term at Craft Club . . .

we have been covering a notebook. the children firstly appliqued  their design onto the fabric and we then covered the notebook. the results have been really amazing and we are so happy with our hardworking crafters!

meet clothy clara!

this is a 'crazy creature' we made for a little girl as a birthday present in december. she was made out of all her old cloths and based on her gorgeous drawing! it is simply amazing don't you think?

We are back at Sewing Club and Craft Club AND the brand new Saturday morning Art Club has started! The children did some fantastic drawings this week . . . which I will share next week!

So what else have we got planned . . . during the Feb half term we are running 2 workshops:

• Monday 18th February we are doing a 'MAKE A BOOKBAG FRIEND' at Little Willows, 10-12AM

Not only that, we have a FELTMAKING workshop planned for adults at Little Willows on Thursday 14th March, 9.45-11.45am. You will get the chance to make a Corsage, all materials are included. For bookings get in touch with Catherine at Little Willows.

it's december!!

we are about halfway through the current term and we just wanted to share with you a few of the GORGEOUS patchwork calenders the children have been working on . . . we will share some other christmas decorations the children have done once I get them all photographed!

last term at craft club the children made pencil cases! we were so surprised and pleased with all the WONDERFUL designs the children came up with. here are just a few of them.
