new work

we have been super busy this past week since we got an order from the wonderful ladies at SupermarketSarah who currently have a concession in Selfridges . . . so we are working like mad getting the order ready . . . we can't contain our excitement at actually being in Selfridges, London!

Also started work (although it has been put to one side for obvious reasons!) on a new blanket, thanks to the lovely pattern by Lucy at Attic 24 - granny stripes are coming along!!

All is good and wonderful in the world today - even though it is raining and grey outside. Just a whole day of sewing ahead of me and i'm loving the thought of it!!

we are finally back at work this week . . . kicking and screaming! it was such a lovely break, after the madness leading up to christmas. we are looking forward to creating new stock and developing new ideas . . . we're off to topdraw on tuesday to get some inspiration!

we had lots of crazy creature orders before christmas - it did fill us with joy thinking of all those kids opening up their crazy creatures on christmas day! here is one of my faves that i did for my niece, amber. x

i was drawn to the sun streaming down onto the red hot pokers (which are doing really well this year for some unknown reason!) i love the colours of nature around this time of the year. winter is coming, but the colourful display makes it more bearable. *smile*

i bought this purse kit from purl bee which arrived the other day! so excited and can't wait to make it!!! it was a bit of a treat . . . ssshhhh don't tell my husband he doesn't know about it yet!

we have been working on an order for a regular client . . just LOVE the mellow colours.

new / old logo

we have changed our logo!

actually we started off with this one, so we are going back to it - feeling a bit sentimental in our old age!! work has begun on our website / shop (even though we are on etsy too) it's time to take that leap. so we had a long hard look at ourselves and what we wanted - one of the things was the 'old' logo. hope you like it . . . x

summer?

today really felt like summer had well and truly gone. sun turned to grey and the drizzle followed.

i was looking through the summer photo's and remembered a day on the beach with some gorgeous friends. this made me smile!

now in the etsy shop

just added our flower brooches to the shop . . . so wander across and have a look.

happiness is . . .

watching my daughter draw on the window. simple pleasures, being lost in a little world, no worries just happy. . . made me smile.

another crazy creature is born

eri, aged 24 (mental age of 9!) designed this creature which we bought to life - quite a challenge, but we enjoyed it!
